We are fielding 5 County Council candidates and 3 Town/parish Council candidates in the forthcoming Durham County Council Elections on 4th May covering the major areas of our Constituency.

The Bishop Auckland Parliamentary Constituency is one of the largest in the UK by area and embraces the following towns and villages which are roughly geographically centred on Barnard Castle at the moment but will shift as areas to the West of Barnard castle move to North Durham and Willington and Ferryhill are absorbed.

Note: Boundary changes will take effect for the next General Election in 2020 such that the West of Barnard Castle, Bowes and all the villages up to Middleton in Teesdale and beyond will be lost to Bishop Auckland Constituency but Willington and Ferryhill will become part of the Constituency.
